How milestone payments will work on ModelQuoter.
Day one, you compare bids and hire your pro directly. Here’s the milestone-payment experience we’re building next — a plain-language look at how accepted bids will become milestones, evidence, approvals, and payout-ready records.
The whole thing in 30 seconds
Soon, when you hire a pro, ModelQuoter will turn the accepted bid into milestones. The contractor uploads photo evidence, you approve completed work, and approved milestones become payout-ready records — so payment follows completed stages.
Secure payments · Coming soon

Common questions
Who handles the money?+
ModelQuoter does not custody customer funds. Where payment integrations are enabled, payment movement is handled by connected payment providers.
What if a contractor walks off the job?+
Use the project workspace to document the issue, preserve photos and messages, and avoid approving the disputed milestone.
What if a homeowner refuses to approve?+
The contractor can keep uploading evidence and use the dispute flow to create a review trail.
Does this replace a contract?+
No. ModelQuoter helps organize scope, bids, evidence, and approvals. Use proper written contracts for legal obligations.
