This page summarizes our current privacy approach while ModelQuoter expands across Canada and select parts of the US.
What we collect
Account details such as name, email, phone number, company information, service area, and notification preferences.
Project details such as descriptions, photos, measurements, address context, modeled previews, quotes, bids, messages, milestone evidence, and dispute notes.
How we use it
We use project data to produce estimates, route projects to relevant contractors, support bidding, and track milestone approvals.
We use account and billing data to operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, send transactional notifications, and support your account.
How sharing works
Homeowner contact details stay private until the homeowner chooses a contractor. Losing contractors should not receive homeowner phone or email details.
Payment and subscription processing is handled through Stripe. Email delivery is handled through Resend. Analytics may be handled through PostHog when enabled.
Your choices
You can update profile, notification, and account settings from Settings. You can request account closure there as well.
